Ruzsai Nyírfás Major produces artisan goat dairy products. The aim was to update the image and the website based on the newly defined target audience. The old, modest identity had no defined target audience, a simple stock graphic showed a goat, a basket and vegetables. The cluttered graphic could not be scaled, had too many colours, no corporate colours, and the font was a handwriting font that was difficult to read. The new logo fulfils its intended function. The logo is clearly visible at the smallest size, readable in an elegant, friendly, hand-crafted font with distinctive corporate colours.
When redesigning the website, we made up for the old site’s shortcomings, such as the lack of an ordering option for products. The farm is aimed at two groups of customers, so the site provides both groups with quick and easy access to information in the opening section.
In the design of the logo, it was requested that the logo should depict a goat browsing.
The keywords for the logo were: friendly, close to nature, plant motif (the farm’s goats are named after the typical plants of the area, Boróka, Királydinnye, Mogyoró, etc.), tribal, folk motif, but not Hungarian national motif, modern.
Target audience: urban middle class and restaurants.
Colours, motifs, graphic elements:
blue – abstract colour of milk, off-white is the colour of cheese, floral motifs, and handcrafted graphic elements, drawn frames for photos.
